Remain A Child

My Illustration class is teaching me to do "smart illustration" where the message is the most important aspect of the image. I wanted to represent the idea that everyone should have the freedom to remain a child, no matter what their age. From the top down is "Sleep With Your Teddy Bears", "Jump in Rain Puddles", "Eat Dessert Before Dinner", and "Climb a Tree". It's sad to think that the only reason we tend to not do childish, fun, charming things (like sledding or playing tag or building forts in the woods) anymore is because we know what society expects of us. It expects us to fill a role, and even though deep down we might not entirely agree with that role, we naturally tend to follow it.
